What is coaching?
Coaching is a process to help you clearly understand the relationship between you and your thoughts and to recognize how your thought processes have been running your life. Coaching can assist you in recognizing moments of choice throughout your day and encourage you to make better decisions at those moments of choice. Coaching focuses on moving forward and making the changes you want to make.
What it's not?
Coaching should not be construed as psychological therapy or consulting. Therapy focuses on addressing unresolved issues that are holding you back from moving forward and consulting is giving expert advice in a particular, specific area.
Are my results guaranteed?
No, they are not. Your coach will guide and support you in the process of mastering your thoughts. Ultimately that choice rests solely with you. You enter a coaching relationship with the understanding that YOU are responsible for doing the necessary work to create the results you want.
How can a coach help me?
If you want to improve your performance, improve self-awareness, develop leadership capacity, learn how to empower and improve communications with others, live a more successful, productive, happy life, a coach can guide you through the process of making changes in the way you are currently thinking.
Is coaching right for you?
If you’ve gotten this far, chances are that it is. In order to help you answer this question, please contact us for brief questionnaire that will help you identify whether coaching is right for you.
What type of assessment or profiles do you use?
We use the 6 AdvisorsTM Assessment.

What types of coaching do you offer?
We offer three types of coaching:
- Achievement Coaching – for specific measurement goals. For example, earn an additional $1,000 a month; lose 20 pounds; get a new job; save more money.
- Development Coaching – for areas in which someone may want to develop or grow. For example, to simply become better at something, such as time management, communicating with others, handling stress, being a better parent.
- Discovery Coaching – for those that don’t know what they want or what they want to be and are looking for a sense of meaning and purpose. Perhaps they’re simply not happy with the way things are and are looking for a change.
How do I choose a coach?
- Consider your goals – what do you want to be different, accomplish or discover.
- Educate yourself about coaching and investigate and research what’s available.
- Assess your readiness for coaching. Are you willing to invest time and effort into getting the results you want? This is not a quick fix or band-aid. Do you want to change your circumstance or your life?
- Identify and interview your choices.
- Select your coach.
What is the 6 AdvisorsTM assessment program?
We all have “advisors” in our life. They may be family, friends, co-workers, parents, bosses, children, mentors, coaches and even paid consultants. Some of the advisors may be very competent, supportive and well-meaning; others may not. You can choose to listen to what they tell you, or not. We also have 6 Advisors in our mind – six very distinct and different unique thought processes that influence our decisions, attitudes, beliefs, emotions and behaviors.
How can I take the assessment?
You can click on the Assessment tab on our website and follow the instructions or you can telephone us at 570-868-5720. You choose what works best for you.
How does the assessment process work and
who will be involved?
Once you’ve decided to take the assessment, it’s quite easy. It will take approximately 20 minutes to complete and is done on-line, at a time and place you chose. You and a coach will discuss the results of your assessment. It’s that simple. After you and you’re coach have discussed your results and the possibilities, you can chose a coaching program tailored to your needs, wants and desires.
How long is the coaching program?
Our coaching program is an intense, highly focused process. We offer two choices of program lengths; 90 days or 180 days. If you chose the 90-day program, we’ll talk for 30 minutes to 2 hours every week for 14 weeks. With the 180-day program, we’ll talk for 30 minutes to 2 hours bi-weekly for 28 weeks. In between our talks, you will have things to do every day. Some may take a few minutes, while others a bit longer. |
